Little Box of Crochet FAQ’s
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we do.
When I subscribe which box will I receive first?
Subscriptions for each month will be open from the 1st to the 20th of that month. Your payment will be taken when you subscribe. All the boxes will be sent out in the week beginning the 20th of the month. If you live in the UK it usually takes a couple of days to reach you. if you live further afield, for instance the USA or Australia it can take from 10 days to 3 weeks to reach you. We use the Royal Mail for all our posting.
Will I receive my next box automatically.
Yes. If you have a monthly subscription you will receive a box every month for as long as you like. If you need to cancel its very straightforward. Go to My Account and click Unsubscribe. After the first month of your subscription your payment date will automatically move to the 1st of the month and your box will come out to you each month during the week beginning the 20th of that month. You don’t need to do anything after your original subscription.
What methods of payment does Little Box of Crochet accept?
We accept PayPal or credit/debit cards. When you subscribe for the first time please can you double check that you’ve entered all your information correctly? We’ll need your email address to keep you up to date and to let you know if there are any problems. We need your correct address because it goes into our mailing system exactly as you write it so if it’s not quite right you run the risk of not receiving your box. You’ll be asked for your payment details and all that information is stored securely by Paypal.
Is the Little Box of Crochet suitable for beginners?
Our projects are designed with capable beginners/intermediate skill levels. They aren’t suitable for complete beginners. They vary in skill levels so a good thing to do is if you’re finding a box too difficult, put it to one side and come back to it when your skills have improved. I’ve been amazed at the progress I’ve made myself since starting up Little Box of Crochet.

Little Box of Candles FAQ’s
How do subscriptions work?
We open subscriptions slots between the 1st and 20th of every month.
You can subscribe for one, 3, 6 or 12 months. Once you’ve chosen your subscription duration, a payment will be taken from you securely using a credit or debit card or paypal.
You can then sit back and enjoy receiving the candles, one per month, for the duration of the subscription!
At the end of the subscription period, unless you cancel your subscription, another payment will be taken for the same duration:
For example, if you sign up for a 3 month subscription, you will make a payment upon subscription and then 3 months later you’ll make another payment.
When will I receive my candle?
All our candles are dispatched at the same time: on or soon after the 20th of the month.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes absolutely, there is no minimum subscription period.
Can I have a refund part-way through a subscription?
Sorry but no. Once you’ve paid your subscription it is non-refundable so please do choose the duration carefully. Of course, you’ll receive every candle you’ve paid for, even if you choose not to renew your subscription at the end of the initial duration.
Can I reuse my jar?
Absolutely! Stop using the candle when there is ¼ of the wax left. Place candle in the freezer, and once the wax has hardened, it can be chipped out along with the wick. If there is more than a little bit of wax left, place your candle in a warm oven (make sure you remove the label first!) and allow the wax to liquify. Dispose of the wax and wipe the jar clean. Soap and water can then be used to remove any wax residue. Ta da – pencil pot/plant holder/button jar/money box, you name it!
