Customs and Import Charges – EU and other International Destinations
We are delighted to send our boxes anywhere in the world. However, please be aware that you may be charged additional taxes or handling fees by your own country prior to delivery.
At this time, all boxes will be sent "Deliver Duty Unpaid" which means all relevant local taxes and charges will need to be paid by you before you receive the box. You can find details of these charges by contacting your local postal service and we strongly advise you to do this before you place an order.
Since each country has its own rules and handling fees (if applicable) it is not possible for us to provide a comprehensive list.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we do.
When I subscribe which box will I receive first?
Subscriptions are bi-monthly (i.e a box is sent every 2 months) and will be open from the 1st to the 20th of the following month. Your payment will be taken when you subscribe. All the boxes will be sent out in the week beginning the 20th of the month that the boxes are due to be despatched. If you live in the UK it usually takes a couple of days to reach you. if you live further afield, for instance the USA or Australia it can take from 10 days to 3 weeks to reach you. We use the Royal Mail for all our posting.
Will I receive my next box automatically?
Yes. Regardless of your payment plan, you will receive a box bi-monthly (every 2 months) for as long as you like. Our posting months in 2019 are: June, August, October and November. If you need to cancel its very straightforward. Go to My Account and click Unsubscribe. After the first payment of your subscription your payment date will automatically move to the next due date depending on your payment plan. Your box will continue to be sent out bi-monthly during the week beginning the 20th of that month. You don’t need to do anything after your original subscription.
What methods of payment does Little Box of Crochet accept?
We accept PayPal or credit/debit cards. When you subscribe for the first time please can you double check that you’ve entered all your information correctly? We’ll need your email address to keep you up to date and to let you know if there are any problems. We need your correct address because it goes into our mailing system exactly as you write it so if it’s not quite right you run the risk of not receiving your box. You’ll be asked for your payment details and all that information is stored securely by Paypal or Stripe - not by us!
Is the Little Box of Crochet suitable for beginners?
Our projects are designed with capable beginners/intermediate skill levels. They aren’t suitable for complete beginners but we DO have a box for that on our shop - why not have a look! The subscription boxes vary in skill levels so a good thing to do is if you’re finding a box too difficult, put it to one side and come back to it when your skills have improved. Don't forget, we will be making videos to support our boxes as well so that is often all you need to master a technique!
