This box is a vision of joyous colour isn’t it? Our lovely designer, Emma Leith, especially crocheted a piece of granny lusciouness to photograph just for the box design. Isn’t it fab? Our Kayti Peschke has taken that image and created this beauty for us. She’s also designed this booklet in your hands and postcard. I think I say it every time but I don’t know what we’d do without her! She’s brill!
Inside you’ll find 9 Must Have Minis by Yarn and Colors. There’s enough for this project plus a few spare flowers etc. Why not decorate one of your existing light shades with a few for instance?
We’ve popped in a useful note book and pen combo so that you’ve got somewhere to write your lists, hopes, dreams etc. We can’t have too many notebooks in our lives can we? And this one is a perfect, pop in your bag size. I’m only sorry that when I ordered them I didn’t know that it would come in shrink wrap plastic. I’ll know to be more careful about that next time.
Beth at Koruclay has made us a great little stitch marker with your hook size on. I thought we’d do one of these every now and then until you have a wide range of sizes. I find them very useful for remembering which size hook I’m using on an old WIP that I’ve taken the hook out of.
You’ll also find a set of light shade rings which form the base of your chandelier. I bought these from a wholesale supplier as I’m, obviously, buying a huge number but you can get all sorts of lampshade bases from Amazon if you get the bug and want to make more of Emma’s fantastic design.
You’ll also find a very cute postcard designed by Kayti Peschke for us. It is a truth, universally known by all crocheters, that whatever the situation, Crochet Will Help.
As always we’ve included your soft handled hook in size 2.5mm and a bodkin for weaving your ends in.
So my lovely ones, enjoy your box and don’t forget to show us your makes over on Instagram using our hashtag #littleboxofcrochet
Loads of love
