What’s in the Box

We are so totally smitten with this beautiful bunny that Claire Garland has created for us.  I think we all know someone who would love to cuddle this but I do think it will be terribly hard to give away!  The yarn you’ll be using is soft and luscious Alpaca Classic from Rowan.  We have 3 balls of that: one each in Cinnamon (118), Snowflake White (115) and Rosy (126).  To add to the luxurious squishiness of your bunny, you’ll  also be using a ball of Rowan Kidsilk Haze in colour “Grace” (580).

You’ll also find a pair of 3.75mm needles in the box, and a darning needle to weave in any ends (although we saw the magical words “don’t worry too much about the ends” in the pattern and did a little whoop of joy!).  We’ve also stuffed as much stuffing as we possibly can into the box!

We are firm believers that you can never have enough stitch markers and this little set to has been made for us by Liz of KoPo UK – should you wish to further extend your collection you will definitely want to visit Liz’s Etsy shop!  Such treats!  You can find her shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/KoPoUk

Since we fell hard for all things rabbit, we couldn’t resist this lovely pin. You could use it for a shawl or on your lapel or – if you’re chic and wear them – a felt hat!

Nic Allen has provided our lovely artwork again for this box – we’ve included a postcard and notebook for you to use.  If you’d like to see more from this very talented artist, you can find Nicola’s work at www.nicallan.co.uk

Last but not least, we must not forget our amazing friends Kayti Peschke and Morgan Leadbitter who have been with us since the very beginning of Little Box of Crochet!  The box itself was made for us by Morgan at Nunet, in Dorset, in the UK. This lovely booklet was designed and photographed for us by Kayti.  You can find more of Kayti’s work here: www.kaytipeschke.com

So that’s it, that’s the box unpacked, have a wonderful time creating your bunny!
