Hello my darlings!
Following on from the success of Little Box of Crochet, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Amanda Bloom’s Little Box of Knitting!
The boxes will be going out to you quarterly, with the next due in December. We’ll be posting them out from the 1st of the month, using Royal Mail Tracked service. This means that once you’ve received your dispatch email with your Tracking Number on, you can follow the progress of your box until it arrives at your home/work.
So what will be in the Little Box of Knitting? Well, the first thing that you’ll notice is the box itself. It’s a beautiful, sturdy box that you will want to keep forever…..the perfect size to store knitting needles, buttons, ribbon, whatever you fancy.
There will also be the yarn needed to make your project. This will vary from quarter to quarter but will always be a really good quality yarn that will be a pleasure to work with. Each month there will be something different for you to try.
You will also receive great quality needles, in the size required for the project. I’ve commissioned some really stunning stitch markers, which are exclusive to our subscribers. I’ve seen the ones for the first box and I just want to wear them as jewellery.
If you’ve previously subscribed to our Little Box of Crochet, you’ll know how much I love finding treats to put in your boxes, so I’m thrilled to be able to have double the fun finding things to delight you for the Little Box of Knitting.
Nicola Allan from www.nicallan.co.uk. will be designing an exclusive postcard and matching notebook for you, each quarter and of course you’ll always have a bodkin from JJ Needles of Sheffield, to weave your ends in.
Each box will contain a pattern booklet containing the pattern for that month’s project. We have some amazing knitting designers lined up for you! Susan Crawford, Anna Nikipirowicz and Claire Garland to name a few! And of course there will be the odd one from Emma and I!
I hope that these boxes will be a joy to you, giving you some much needed ‘me time’ as you sit down to open them and enjoy making the projects in them.
